Choose a realistic distance
Elevation and terrain matter more than kilometres. On your first day, select a route that leaves time for breaks and a return before dark.
On two wheels
The area combines quiet roads with more technical mountain sections. Check the surface, brakes and rental options, and always give way to walkers on shared paths.
A small packing list
Water, food, an outer layer, a charged phone, an offline map and a basic first-aid kit are a sensible minimum. Tell someone outside the group where you are going.
