In 1923, the house we know today as Skabrin House was built.

On the contrary, the desire was to preserve its character and authenticity, while adapting it to the needs of the modern traveler.

Why did we keep the name?
In a world where many historic places lose their identity after renovation, it was important to us that one thing remain unchanged – the name.
Skabrin House bears the family name not as a sign of ownership, but as a sign of respect for history.
